Our Story
Lauren and Tom met the old fashioned way: on a dating app. While they were both enjoying their lives in Boston, they hadn't met the right person . From their first date at an unassuming restaurant in summer 2017, they were struck by one another and saw something special. When Tom first walked in, Lauren instantly could envision him as her husband some day!
One of their favorite memories during their first few months was a rainy Army tailgate overlooking the Hudson River. She got a personal tour of campus and was even more impressed by Tom's service and accomplishments. That day Lauren met Tom's parents (Phil & Jayne) and sister (Sarah) along with his classmates. Lauren not only won over Tom with her warmth and positivity, but soon everyone in his inner circle.
Over the years Lauren & Tom enjoyed trips to places like Ireland, Portugal, Napa Valley, Charleston, and Scottsdale. They also can have just as much fun cooking at home together. They adore Tom's 2 year old nephew Jimmy and spend time with him any chance they can get.
In February 2023, Tom finally took the step to propose. He asked Lauren's parents (Michael & Jan) for their permission and they could barely keep the secret. During a snowy trip to Portland Maine, Tom swept Lauren off her feet and he popped the question. It was worth the wait!
They are so excited to start this new chapter and celebrate with those they care about most.
